A band that was a blip to a lot last year, eventually ended up creating a song that I really would like to title the under dog track of the entire year. Temper Trap, a band originating from Australia came out with their album Conditions. There are some good tracks on the album but nothing can come close to the way Sweet Disposition was made. The track felt like it was falling into its own category with its rhythm. And being accompanied with that voice, the sound just became so cohesive. As a bonus, the song was used in the movie 500 days of summer, but sadly the movie kind of fell short on giving the track justice. Nonetheless, it gave the track and band good exposure, that a lot of non indie listeners had the chance to experience even its slightest glimmer. They're more than just a hint of light now and hopefully, they continue to make something like this. And even if the forefront of this song is as cliched as a nut, I will definitely keep it right at the top of my list.
