To honor our purpose, we revist the Beatles
Lyrics:
Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play?
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play?
Dear Prudence, open up your eyes
Dear Prudence, see the sunny skies
The wind is low, the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence, won't you open up your eyes?
Look around, around
Look around, around, around
Look around
Dear Prudence, let me see you smile
Dear Prudence, like a little child
The clouds will be a daisy chain
So let me see you smile again
Dear Prudence won't you let me see you smile?
This song was written by John Lennon for Prudence Farrow, someone they met when they were meditating with the Maharashi. Prudence Farrow would not like to come out from her room and this was Lennon's way of inviting her to join them.
If not for the reason that it was for an adult, you would like to imagine the song as a dedication to a kid that hardly wants to socialize. With the lush tones behind it, you can sense that it sounds like a plea but an encouraging one. Like how a parent would start going through a see saw and eventually the kid would join in.
Even more far out, I can imagine Lennon's face with his spectacles on saying that he or she should try playing outside.
It's all my imagination running wild. maybe you've got something more to say?
