Finally after weeks of planning we have come alive. Slumwake is our way of sharing to you songs/music; new or old, that we feel and enjoy for the moment. This will include breakdowns and thoughts of what the song means and how it was written.
In addition, we are not just supporting and listening to foreign music, but local Filipino music as well. We will be checking out, showing and promoting music locally brewed to entice all audiences. as they would say it in Filipino, "hindi naman kami judgemental."
All posts will include lyrics to make it easier for you to understand or maybe even sing-a-long to. And we highly encourage that you share what you feel through comments. Hopefully as we grow, more viewers will follow and post their thoughts on the song.
In the end, all we want is that people wake up from their slumber and appreciate music again for what it is worth.
